The Tap Fee is calculated based on a daily usage of 21.79 cu. ft./day (163 gal/day).
Example: 300 gal/day divided by 180 gal/day = 1.84 x $1,250 = $2,300 Tap Fee.
Contractor or owner will provide to MAWA the design capacity flow calculated by a Professional Engineer.
1Connection Fee is the actual cost of labor, materials, equipment and restoration from the MAWA water main to the MAWA curb box or valve box at the customer's property line.
2Contractor or owner will provide all permits, and inspection fees.
SEWER RATES
The Meadville Area Water Authority (MAWA) is the billing agent for the Meadville Area Sewer Authority (MASA). MAWA's services include only billing and collection for MASA. MAWA does not set the sewer rates. The sewer rates include a monthly base rate according to the meter size and consumption.
