How Your Water Meter Works

Special Note:
A printable PDF version of the application form can be downloaded *here. Please download this form, fill it out, and follow the directions given below. No water/sewer service will commence until the completed application is submitted and approved. The account will remain in the name of applicant, on file, who shall be held responsible for all bills.

Property Owners:
Property owners can mail, fax, or email the completed form to obtain water/sewer service.

Tenants:
Tenants are required to hand deliver the completed application in person along with the following information:
  • Photo Identification (drivers license, student ID, passport or other identification with photo); and
  • Copy of lease; or
  • Letter from Landlord listing responsible parties for water and sewer charges.
Service Denied:
Water/Sewer Service may be denied based on the following:
  • Past balance on a previous account.
  • Unpaid charges exist on the property for which you are requesting water/sewer service.
  • Termination of service.
Discontinuing Water/Sewer Service:
Water/Sewer service will continue under this application in your name until we receive a request for a final meter reading and forwarding address information, no less than 10 days prior to your moving date. The final inside meter reading is to ensure that you are billed only for the services you received.
